About Us

AshPark Childcare is a well-known and established Nannying and Childminding service that has ventured into a Nursery setting. Steph the Director of Ash Park is a local Farmer's daughter, who has always had a love for working with children since leaving school.

Ashpark Nursery is located at The Stables, Marrage Road, Thirsk, YO7 1UN.

Thirsk is a small market town and civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. Historically a part of the North Riding of Yorkshire, it is 8 miles from the county town of Northallerton. According to statistics in 2011, had a populations of 4,998 - which is growing day by day.

Thirsk is a popular tourist destination close to the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors. It was also the home of author James Herriot and birthplace of Thomas Lord, after whom Lord's Cricket Ground is named. Thirsk also has a racecourse, which is located on the western edge of the town.

AshPark was set up in April 2020, in the middle of the first National Lockdown, as a result of the Coronavirus Pandemic. It was an extremely challenging time for everyone, especially those that had to juggle working from home and home-schooling, which was new to us all. It was here, when Steph, the Director of AshPark, and her partner Andrew came with the idea of AshPark Childcare Services. A childcare service where Steph would support families that needed it with a Nannying service, allowing parents the opportunity to get some work done and carry out tasks they would normally be able to manage in normal circumstances.

From this, the demand for AshPark Childcare rocketed, therefore AshPark then became OFSTED Registered. And now from that, we now have our own AshPark Nursery and we would love to support your child with their learning and development, giving them the best start in life.
